Last week we welcomed TV Architect, George Clarke to our manufacturing centre in Sherburn-In-Elmet to meet the innovators behind our exciting new product, Gyproc Habito. We were all super excited to meet George and keen to hear his thoughts on the latest game-changing building materials being developed at the British Gypsum site.
After few introductions over cups of tea, George took part in a factory tour where he was able to see for himself what it takes to manufacture Gyproc Habito, a new plasterboard, which has a reinforced core.
Then, George delivered a speech to the British Gypsum team, on why he thinks Gyproc Habito is set to take the home renovation market by storm. George said: “People want a flexible home and living space which is exactly what Gyproc Habito provides. I’ve been really impressed by this revolutionary product and believe it is the perfect choice for any home. Gyproc Habito makes it quicker and easier to attach anything from picture hooks to televisions to the wall, meaning people can get more creative. What’s more it’s stronger and more durable than your average plasterboard, so it’s a real game-changer when it comes to adapting the fabric of our homes and is a very exciting project!”
After the local press turned up for one or two pictures, it was time to say goodbye to George. However, we couldn’t let him leave without a few selfies and a book signing.
